Aptos Releases Mainnet Node Software v1.49.1 for Validators and Fullnode Operators

Aptos Labs has released mainnet node software version 1.49.1, aimed at validators, fullnode providers, indexers and RPC operators. The update follows a prior hotfix path and incorporates a wider range of changes into the public mainnet build.

Scope of the Release

The new version is more than a cosmetic bump. It includes updates to state sync, validator recovery, execution consistency, database handling and the Move environment. It also rolls forward fixes that were previously delivered only through the v1.49 hotfix branch.

End users holding APT do not need to migrate tokens, update wallets or interact with any migration contracts. The changes are purely infrastructural, affecting only node operators.
