Binance Adds Physically Settled Options on Over 1,000 US Stocks and ETFs

Binance is launching physically settled options on more than 1,000 US stocks and ETFs for eligible non‑US users, expanding its traditional finance product suite.

Binance is extending its traditional finance (TradFi) offerings by introducing options trading on over 1,000 US‑listed stocks and exchange‑traded funds (ETFs) for eligible users outside the United States.

How the service works

The options will be provided through Binance’s Abu Dhabi‑regulated broker‑dealer, Nest Trading. Order execution, clearing, settlement and custody are handled by US‑registered Alpaca Securities.

Physical settlement

Unlike Binance’s equity‑linked perpetual futures, these options are physically settled. When exercised, users receive or deliver the underlying shares rather than cash‑settled differences.

Context within Binance’s TradFi expansion

The new options product builds on Binance’s existing equities platform, which already offers more than 7,000 US stocks and ETFs. Binance reports that TradFi perpetual futures volume reached roughly $433 billion in August, about fifteen times the volume recorded in January.

Industry trends

Tokenized stock markets are growing rapidly, with distributed value rising from approximately $346 million to $2.6 billion over the past year, according to RWA.xyz. Monthly transfer volume has climbed 93% to $25.1 billion, and the number of holders has increased 157% to nearly 2.5 million.

Related developments

Other exchanges are also expanding tokenized equity access: Coinbase recently launched its B20 tokenized equities on Base, Kraken opened more than 7,000 US‑listed stocks to European customers, and Robinhood introduced a tokenized stock platform for users in over 120 countries.
