Binance opens Capital Connect to high‑net‑worth investors

Binance has expanded its Capital Connect marketplace to qualified individual investors, allowing high‑net‑worth clients with at least $1 million in assets to allocate capital to professionally managed strategies that were previously limited to institutions.

Eligibility and Access

To qualify, users must be KYC‑verified and meet one of the following criteria:

• Reach VIP 3 or higher on Binance.
• Hold a minimum of $1 million in assets on Binance.
• Provide proof of an equivalent external balance for review.

Access remains restricted to permitted jurisdictions.

Growth of the Marketplace

As of September, Capital Connect listed 212 portfolios from 77 professional trading teams, up from 106 portfolios and 35 teams in May, indicating rapid growth in both offerings and participating managers.

How Capital Connect Works

Investors can compare standardized performance data and allocate funds without the trading teams creating separate fund vehicles. The platform runs on Binance’s Portfolio Account infrastructure, handling fees, subscriptions, redemptions, NAV reporting and risk metrics while keeping assets in Binance custody.

Strategy Types and Asset Coverage

Initially crypto‑only, the marketplace now includes strategies that incorporate traditional financial instruments. Available categories cover market‑neutral, statistical arbitrage, directional, long‑short and multi‑strategy portfolios that span both digital assets and conventional markets.
