Spot Bitcoin ETFs see $462.7M outflows while Ethereum funds record $196.9M inflow

During the four‑day trading week of September 8‑11, U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange‑traded funds (ETFs) experienced net outflows of $462.7 million, while Ethereum‑focused ETFs posted a net inflow of $196.9 million and Solana‑linked ETFs added $9.7 million.

Bitcoin ETFs under pressure

All four Bitcoin ETF sessions recorded outflows, highlighted by a $282.7 million loss on Thursday. Daily outflows were $46.6 million (Tuesday), $120.2 million (Wednesday), $282.7 million (Thursday) and $13.2 million (Friday). The weekly outflows erased part of the $986.7 million gain recorded in the prior week.

• ARK 21Shares (ARKB) led the outflows with $234.2 million withdrawn.
• Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) lost $129.1 million.
• BlackRock Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) saw a net loss of $52.5 million.
• Fidelity Bitcoin ETF (FBTC) fell $50.7 million.
• VanEck Bitcoin ETF (HODL) lost $13.1 million.

Only two Bitcoin products attracted money: Morgan Stanley’s MSBT gained $19.7 million and Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) posted a modest $1.9 million increase.

Ethereum ETFs turn positive

Ethereum ETFs entered the week with a $19.5 million net outflow but reversed to a $196.9 million net inflow after a $216.4 million surge on Friday.

• BlackRock Ethereum ETF (ETHA) contributed $148.8 million on Friday, ending the week with $139.9 million net inflows.
• BlackRock Staked Ethereum ETF (ETHB) added $55.1 million.
• Bitwise Ethereum ETF (ETHW) gained $29.1 million, all on Friday.
• VanEck Ethereum ETF (ETHV) added $3.7 million.
• Fidelity Ethereum ETF (FETH) recorded a $3.9 million weekly loss despite inflows on other days.
• Grayscale Ethereum ETF (ETHE) lost $17.3 million.

Solana ETFs see modest gains

Solana‑linked ETFs posted a $9.7 million net inflow, driven primarily by Bitwise Solana ETF (BSOL) which added $9.5 million.

• BSOL received $11.2 million on Wednesday, then small outflows on Thursday and Friday.
• VanEck Solana ETF (FSOL) added $0.9 million on Thursday.
• VanEck Solana ETF (TSOL) gained $0.5 million on Tuesday.
• Grayscale Solana ETF (GSOL) recorded a $1.2 million outflow on Tuesday.

Hyperliquid ETFs continue to lose

Hyperliquid‑related ETFs posted a combined net outflow of $26.5 million across the week.

• Bitwise Hyperliquid ETF (BHYP) accounted for $20.2 million of the loss.
• 21Shares Hyperliquid ETF (THYP) lost $6.3 million.
