Bitget Broadens Proof of Reserves as 20+ Assets Become Verifiable

Bitget, a major Universal Exchange, has expanded its Proof of Reserves (PoR) coverage from four to nineteen assets, increasing the portion of user holdings that can be independently verified.

Expanded Asset Coverage

The new PoR includes the following assets: BTC, USDT, ETH, LTC, LINK, XRP, USDC, DOGE, BNB, SOL, ADA, NEAR, XAUT, TAO, SUI, ONDO, HYPE, PI, and USDGO.

How the Upgrade Works

Both platform‑level reserve disclosures and personal Proof of Assets verification now cover the same nineteen assets. Users can view reserve ratios, total user assets per asset, and distribution across public blockchains on the upgraded PoR page. Personal verification uses Merkle Tree snapshots, allowing users to confirm inclusion of their holdings and download relevant data for further checks.

Historical Performance

Since launching PoR in December 2022, Bitget has published 45 consecutive monthly reports. The latest report, as of August 2026, shows a total reserve ratio of 122%, exceeding the 1:1 reserve standard.

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen emphasized that users should be able to verify assets themselves and noted that expanding verification to nineteen assets enhances transparency for a broader user base.

Additional Transparency Measures

For assets not covered in a specific audit, the Proof of Assets interface provides notices to help users interpret results. Bitget’s broader security framework includes a Protection Fund and other measures aimed at making security measurable as the ecosystem grows.
