BitGo has completed the purchase of NYDIG’s institutional trading arm, adding roughly 30 staff and expanding its derivatives and financing services for institutional crypto clients.

Expansion of Services

Leadership Comments

BitGo CEO Mike Belshe described the transaction as a means to “meaningfully scale” the firm’s trading and infrastructure. Pete Janney, head of financial infrastructure at BitGo, said the move enables the team to continue delivering innovative solutions with deeper resources.
