Bitmine's Ethereum Treasury Reaches $14.8 B After Adding 28,086 ETH

Bitmine has increased its Ethereum holdings by 28,086 ETH, bringing the total to 5,929,198 ETH valued at roughly $14.79 billion based on an ETH price of $2,495. The accumulation represents about 4.9% of the estimated 122 million ETH supply.

Scale of the Position

The company’s weekly acquisition model, launched on June 30 2025, continues to add significant amounts of ether. In addition to ETH, Bitmine holds 211 BTC and approximately $593 million in cash and marketable securities, bringing total assets to near $15.7 billion.

Staking Strategy

Approximately 85% of the ETH holdings—5,067,309 ETH—are staked, generating an estimated annual staking revenue of $330 million. If the full ETH balance were staked through Bitmine’s MAVAN platform and partners, projected rewards could rise to about $386 million at a 2.61% yield.

Market Outlook

Technical analyst Tom DeMark views recent ETH price consolidation as supportive of a continued uptrend, noting a recent one‑day rally as a potential preview of further gains. Chairman Tom Lee expects institutional demand for crypto to increase in the final months of 2026, driven by regulatory progress, tokenization, and AI‑related blockchain activity. He also anticipates a rise in the ETH/BTC ratio if Ethereum becomes the preferred settlement layer for tokenized assets.

Bitmine’s concentrated exposure means its treasury could amplify both upside and downside moves in ETH price. With nearly 6 million ETH on its books, the company is positioned as a major participant in the Ethereum market.
