Corn launches private members club for digital asset holders
Corn has launched a private members club for digital asset holders after closing its Bitcoin layer-2 network, as a third investment from Polychain Capital has taken its total funding to $19 million.

Corn announced the creation of an invitation‑only members club aimed at crypto investors, replacing its former Bitcoin layer‑2 network with a stablecoin‑backed payment card and concierge services.
From Bitcoin L2 to a concierge‑driven service
The Bitcoin layer‑2 platform, which once held roughly $1 billion in deposits at its peak, ceased operations on June 30, 2026 after deposit volumes declined. Founder Chris Spadafora said the shutdown highlighted the difference between capital inflows driven by incentives and genuine product usage.
Club structure and card offering
Members can deposit USDC or USDT from major blockchains; all balances settle in USDC on the Base network. The card, issued by the regulated platform Rain, is a Visa‑branded payment instrument with spending limits that vary according to the member’s stablecoin balance. Corn does not hold pooled funds; each transaction draws directly from the user’s embedded wallet at the moment of purchase.
Concierge and exclusive experiences
Each member receives a dedicated concierge who manages preferences, portfolio details, and requests for private events, travel, and dining. The club will run two quarterly programs – “Impossible Moments” for limited‑access experiences and “Corn Curated” for curated hospitality selections.
Funding and future rollout
Polychain Capital made a third investment in Corn, bringing total funding to $19 million. The new capital will support the concierge operation, card rollout, and member experience. The card will launch in over 50 countries, including the United States, with additional market‑by‑market expansions planned for the fall.
