Traders on the Binance Smart Chain have created a new niche by pairing meme tokens with tokenized shares of real companies. The most visible example is a pool on PancakeSwap where the meme token memestock trades directly against Binance’s tokenized GameStop share, GMEB.

Binance’s bStocks program issues tokenized shares that are fully backed by actual shares held by a regulated custodian. The GameStop token (GMEB) was launched as part of this lineup in June 2026 and can be traded 24/7 on Binance platforms.

Since August 12, a PancakeSwap pool for memestock/GMEB has held over $200,000 and generated $543,000 in volume in a single day. At least ten other meme tokens, including stockmemes, LONGCZ and BURN, also use GMEB as their quote asset, moving roughly $2.2 million in total volume over 24 hours.

Scale Compared to Traditional Markets

The on‑chain supply of tokenized GameStop shares totals 292,353 tokens, valued at about $5.3 million, which is roughly 0.07 % of GameStop’s market cap of $8.02 billion. The combined market value of the meme tokens paired with GMEB is around $3.7 million.

Broader Context of Tokenized Stocks and Meme Coins

Other platforms have experimented with similar pairings. For example, Robinhood’s chain hosts the meme token Artificial Inu, valued near $98.6 million, which trades against a tokenized Nvidia share worth about $9.3 million, while Nvidia’s overall market cap exceeds $5 trillion.

Trader Sentiment and Future Outlook

Some traders argue that tokenized shares of smaller companies—those with market caps between $50 million and $250 million—might be more susceptible to price movement driven by meme‑coin activity. No such tokenized stock currently exists, leaving the concept untested.
