Digital Sovereignty Alliance Wraps Up First Digital Asset Case Study Course for High School Students

The Digital Sovereignty Alliance (DSA), a nonprofit focused on public policy and education around emerging technologies, announced the conclusion of its first Digital Asset Case Study Course held at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School.

Program Overview

Developed with Harvard Business School professor Charles C.Y. Wang and partner Giveback Backpack, the four‑session program introduced high‑school students to real‑world questions at the intersection of technology, markets, governance, and public policy.

Case Study Focus

The final session on August 22 featured a case study of Axie Infinity and its co‑founder Jeff Zirlin, examining the company’s business model, digital ownership concepts, community‑driven economies, and leadership challenges in the Web3 space.

Curriculum Highlights

• Exploration of digital assets, capital markets, trust, and leadership.
• Case analyses of Alibaba, Coinbase, and Wells Fargo to illustrate diverse technology‑finance intersections.
• Emphasis on active discussion, position‑taking, and debate rather than traditional lectures.
