Ethena Deploys USDe and sUSDe on TRON Network

Ethena Labs and TRON DAO have launched the USDe and sUSDe stablecoins on the TRON blockchain, enabling bridging via Stargate Finance and upcoming integration with TRON DeFi protocols.

Ethena Labs announced that its USDe and reward‑bearing sUSDe stablecoins are now live on the TRON blockchain. The launch allows users to bridge the assets to TRON through Stargate Finance and to hold or transfer them within the network.

Immediate Availability and Bridging

USDe and sUSDe can be moved to TRON using the Stargate Finance bridge. Once on TRON, the tokens are compatible with the network’s core DeFi applications, with integration into JustLend DAO and SUN.io expected in the coming weeks.

Future Integration and Adoption

Ethena expects broader adoption across wallets, exchanges, and payment platforms after the initial DeFi rollout. USDe will remain linked to liquidity on Ethena’s other supported chains, preserving cross‑chain interoperability.

Strategic Significance

TRON’s user base exceeds 403 million accounts, handling substantial dollar‑denominated flows. Adding USDe provides an additional stablecoin option, while sUSDe offers TRON users exposure to Ethena’s interest‑bearing digital dollar.

Quotes from Founders

Justin Sun, founder of TRON, highlighted the network’s role in daily payments and value transfer, noting that the new assets broaden user options. Guy Young, founder of Ethena Labs, emphasized that the integration lets TRON users hold a reward‑earning dollar on a familiar network.

Multichain Expansion

The deployment marks another step in USDe’s expansion, now available on more than a dozen blockchains and integrated with major centralized exchanges and DeFi services.
