Four Suspects Sought After Home Invasion Targets French Crypto Worker, €40,000 Stolen

Police in the Pas‑de‑Calais town of Vendin‑le‑Vieil are looking for four individuals who broke into a family home, restrained the occupants for more than three hours and compelled the father, who works in the cryptocurrency sector, to surrender access codes to an estimated €40,000 worth of digital assets.

According to local media reports, the suspects entered the residence during the night and tied up the couple and their children, aged eight and twelve. The father was assaulted and his daughter was struck in the face with car keys, though no life‑threatening injuries were reported. After the father managed to contact emergency services around 8 a.m., the intruders fled in a vehicle.
