The conspiracy was built through connections on online gaming platforms, with members located in California, Connecticut, New York, Florida, and overseas.

The ring impersonated entities such as Google and Gemini, broke into homes to obtain private information, and used that data to empty victims’ crypto wallets. One notable incident involved the theft of more than 4,100 BTC from a single Washington, D.C. victim in August 2024.

Stolen funds financed a lavish lifestyle, including night‑club bills exceeding $500,000 in a single night, watches priced over $500,000 each, exotic cars up to $3.8 million, private security teams, chartered jets, and rentals in Los Angeles, Miami, and the Hamptons.
