Hyperliquid Pursues U.S. Entry via Payward Amid Pending CFTC Review
Payward has submitted a structural outline to the CFTC for a proposed crypto perpetuals partnership with Hyperliquid, but regulatory clearance has not yet been granted.

Hyperliquid is aiming to establish a presence in the United States by partnering with Payward, the parent company of Kraken, to launch crypto perpetual contracts. The collaboration is currently under regulatory review.
Regulatory filing
Payward has reportedly provided the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) with an outline of the proposed deal structure. The submission details how the parties intend to operate the perpetuals platform within U.S. regulatory frameworks.
Pending approval
Despite the filing, the CFTC has not yet issued a decision. Approval is required before the partnership can move forward and offer services to U.S. customers.
