Kazakhstan to Launch National Cryptocurrency Analytics Center

Kazakhstan announced plans to establish a National Cryptocurrency Analytics Center that will monitor digital‑asset transactions across fiat payments, crypto transfers, wallets and customer information.

Integration with Existing Supervision Tools

The center will be built on the National Bank of Kazakhstan’s SupTech supervisory platform and will be linked to the bank’s Anti‑Fraud Center. This integration will allow banks, law‑enforcement agencies and licensed digital‑asset providers to access verification tools for both conventional and crypto transactions.

SupTech Platform Capabilities

The SupTech system already supports the full supervisory cycle for regulated entities, including registry maintenance, blockchain analytics and automated supervisory actions. The central bank aims to move the complete supervisory process to the platform in the second half of 2026.

Broader Regulatory Context

Kazakhstan has been tightening oversight of cryptocurrency activity while expanding regulated services. In 2025 the authorities blocked more than 1,100 unlicensed exchange platforms and seized 4.8 million USDT. The country also launched a regulated P2P platform, piloted stable‑coin fee payments and earmarked $350 million for crypto‑related investments through hedge‑fund exposure.

Link to Anti‑Fraud Center

The Anti‑Fraud Center, operating since August 2024, connects over 200 organizations and has recorded tens of thousands of fraud‑related incidents. By linking the new analytics center to this infrastructure, authorities aim to enhance detection of illicit activity involving both fiat and crypto flows.
