MEXC launches Visa-linked Global Card with USDT cashback and Apple Pay support

MEXC announced the release of its Global Card, a virtual Visa card that enables users to spend USDT through the Visa network and supports Apple Pay and Google Pay. The card is available to eligible non‑U.S. users after completing advanced identity verification.

Cashback structure

The card provides a tiered cashback program paid in USDT. Cashback rates range from 4% to 10% depending on the user’s VVIP level and M‑Score, with monthly caps of 100 USDT (Standard), 300 USDT (Premier) and 800 USDT (Elite). Rewards are calculated on the final day of each calendar month and credited to the user’s spot account on the 15th of the following month. Certain merchant categories are excluded, and refunds or reversed purchases can adjust the final reward amount.

Fee and spending limits

Purchase fees are waived until September 30; after that, a 1% fee applies. There are no issuance, annual, or top‑up fees. Transaction limits are set at 80,000 USDT per purchase and 1 million USDT per day.

Additional earnings via MEXC Earn

Cardholders can subscribe eligible USDT to MEXC Earn and earn up to 7% annualized return. The Earn product is separate from the cashback program and does not require a lock‑up period.

Market context

Crypto‑linked card spending reached $759 million in July, about 2.5 times the volume a year earlier, according to an August analysis by a16z crypto using Paymentscan data. Stablecoins dominated the activity, with USDC and USDT accounting for 84 % of total crypto card spend.

Geographic restrictions

The Global Card is not available to U.S. residents and several other jurisdictions, including China, India, Indonesia, Turkey and Russia. Eligibility is based on proof of address and the exchange’s restricted‑country list.
