Pump.fun adds HyperEVM token trading with USDC
Pump.fun has added trading for any HyperEVM token through USDC as Hyperliquid L1 records about $503 million in decentralized exchange volume over 24 hours.

Pump.fun announced that its platform now supports trading of HyperEVM tokens against USDC. The update expands the service beyond its original Solana‑based market, allowing users to buy and sell assets issued on HyperEVM without setting up a traditional liquidity pool.
How the new feature works
Users can trade HyperEVM tokens directly with USDC through Pump.fun’s application. The company describes the trading fees as “close to zero,” though it did not publish a detailed fee schedule or clarify whether network gas costs are included. Referral rewards are also offered for users who bring new traders to the platform.
Integration with Hyperliquid
HyperEVM is the Ethereum‑compatible smart‑contract environment built into the Hyperliquid blockchain. It shares the same network as HyperCore, which handles Hyperliquid’s spot and perpetual order books. Assets can move between HyperCore and HyperEVM, enabling interaction with decentralized exchanges, lending protocols, and other DeFi applications.
Hyperliquid L1 currently holds roughly $1.59 billion in DeFi value, with stablecoins—primarily USDC—representing about $6.79 billion of that total. Recent on‑chain data shows the network processed around $503 million in DEX volume over the latest 24‑hour period and $12.43 billion in perpetual trading volume.
Impact on Pump.fun’s business
The addition of HyperEVM assets broadens Pump.fun’s market reach beyond Solana, which has been the source of most of its activity and fee revenue. In a prior report, the platform generated $10.03 million in fees over a seven‑day period, with $5.02 million used to buy and burn approximately 2.15 billion PUMP tokens.
Regulatory note for U.S. users
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has indicated that many meme‑style tokens do not qualify as securities, but it also warned that such tokens are not protected by federal securities laws. Users should consider the regulatory status of each token individually.
