Quant, Ethena and Bitway Drive Weekly Crypto Gains as Bitcoin Holds Near $84K
Bitcoin rose 3.8% over the past week, buoyed by $2.39 billion of inflows into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs. Quant, Ethena and Bitway posted the strongest weekly gains among the top 100 crypto assets, climbing 61.8%, 54.1% and 48.0% respectively.

Bitcoin gained roughly 3.8% in the last seven days, trading near $84,077 on September 26. The price stability follows a brief surge to an eight‑month high above $87,000 earlier in the week and is set against a backdrop of strong inflows into U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange‑traded funds (ETFs).
ETF inflows underpin Bitcoin’s rally
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows on each of the five trading days from September 21‑25, totaling about $2.39 billion. Daily inflows were $999 million, $714.7 million, $346.9 million, $190.7 million and $134.5 million. Analysts linked the cash entering spot funds to the recent price rise and noted that futures positions also increased.
Quant leads the weekly gainers
Quant (QNT) posted the largest seven‑day gain among the top 100 assets, up 61.8% to around $104.48. The surge follows The Clearing House’s selection of Quant to power its U.S. On‑Chain Money Initiative, which will connect banks for clearing and settlement of tokenized‑deposit transactions. The network is expected to be operational for participating banks in the first half of 2027.
Technical analysis shows Quant trading above the $100 level, with the next resistance at $106.25 and further targets at $112.50 and $118.75. A break below $100 would shift focus to $93.75.
Ethena expands USDe backing
Ethena (ENA) rose 54.1% to about $0.278, driven by the protocol’s expansion of its USDe synthetic‑dollar backing strategy to include tokenized U.S. stocks and equity perpetual futures on Binance. The move adds exposure to stocks such as Nvidia and Tesla via Binance’s bStocks, while offsetting positions are taken in equity perpetual contracts.
Ethena’s price sits above its 20‑, 50‑, 100‑ and 200‑day moving averages, with a daily RSI near 80, indicating strong upward momentum. A breakout above $0.2807 would extend the rally, while a pullback below $0.2632 could revisit the $0.22‑$0.23 range.
Bitway’s volatile climb
Bitway (BTW) gained 48.0% to roughly $0.903, after reaching a high of $1.3661 earlier in the week. The token’s price faced a sharp reversal, with the daily low at $0.762. On‑chain activity showed large withdrawals from new addresses, totaling about 15 million BTW within three hours, though the impact on price is unclear.
Bitway’s staking program, running from September 1 to October 1, offers an 8% annual rate on USDT plus an additional 3% in BW Points. Technical levels to watch include the $1.00 and $1.1513 resistance zones, and the $0.7121 middle Bollinger band as support.
Market overview
The total crypto market value stood near $2.98 trillion. While Bitcoin’s weekly gain was modest compared with the top three gainers, the continued ETF inflows and the specific developments behind Quant, Ethena and Bitway suggest divergent drivers for price action across the sector.
