Strive adds 1,355 Bitcoin, Accelerates Toward Year-End Treasury Goal

Strive (ASST) bought 1,355 BTC for about $107.7 million, raising its holdings to 26,355 BTC and keeping it as the fifth‑largest public Bitcoin holder.

Strive (ticker ASST) purchased 1,355 Bitcoin between September 14 and September 18 for roughly $107.7 million, according to a recent Form 8‑K filing. The acquisition lifts the company’s total Bitcoin balance to 26,355 BTC, valued at over $2.25 billion with Bitcoin trading near $85,600.

Position Among Public Bitcoin Treasuries

With this purchase, Strive remains the fifth‑largest public Bitcoin holder, trailing Strategy, Twenty One, Metaplanet and MARA. To overtake Twenty One’s 43,514 BTC, Strive would need an additional 17,160 BTC, assuming Twenty One makes no further purchases.

Weekly Acquisition Pace Required

Fourteen full weeks remain in 2026. At the current rate, Strive would need to acquire about 1,226 BTC per week to reach the second‑place spot. Maintaining this pace could also allow Strive to surpass MARA’s 35,577 BTC in the latter half of November.

Warrant Exercises and Capital Raising

During the same week, holders exercised nearly 786,000 warrants linked to Strive’s common stock, generating approximately $21.2 million in gross proceeds. Overall, about 58 % of the week’s capital raised came from Strive’s preferred stock (SATA), which continued to trade near its $100 par value.

Analyst Outlook and Share Price Reaction

TD Cowen raised its price target for ASST from $32 to $44, citing faster‑than‑expected Bitcoin accumulation. The firm now projects Strive will end 2026 with 32,105 BTC, up from a prior estimate of 27,156 BTC, and expects the full‑year BTC Yield to increase from 54.1 % to 70.1 %.

ASST shares slipped about 1.5 % in early trading to around $29.65 after briefly reaching $31.50 in pre‑market activity.

Market Context

Bitcoin rose above $85,000 for the first time since January, gaining more than 5 % in 24 hours as at least $648 million in short positions were liquidated. Strategy also added 950 BTC for roughly $75.7 million, bringing its total to 846,000 BTC, and spent about $174 million repurchasing STRC preferred shares.
