• Sept 18: Distribution wallet splits tokens; 3.25 M TRUMP moves to OKX-linked addresses.
• Sept 20: Additional 2.75 M TRUMP sent to a third OKX-linked address.
• Sept 21, 06:51 UTC: One intermediate wallet transfers 2 M TRUMP in five batches, emptying itself.
• Sept 21, 08:56 UTC: Second intermediate wallet sends 400 k TRUMP to the same deposit address used on Sept 18.

Remaining Tokens

After the four‑day sequence, one intermediate wallet still holds 1.6 M TRUMP (about $3.4 million), the only portion of the batch not yet on an exchange.

Context of Unlocks and Prior Moves

The first OKX transfer coincided with a scheduled unlock of 28.7 M TRUMP (2.9 % of total supply). This unlock is part of 34 releases planned through December 2027, intended to free roughly 80 % of the supply locked at launch. Similar patterns were observed on Aug 23, when the team sent two batches worth an estimated $21.7 million to OKX, and in May, when $17 million in TRUMP was moved to BitGo custody. By early September, over $150 million in TRUMP‑linked tokens had reached exchanges since April.

TRUMP trades near $2.13, down about 97 % from its $73.43 peak in January 2025. The token opened 2026 at $4.80 and has lost more than half its value this year. Bitcoin’s price has risen close to $85,000, providing a supportive environment for memecoins.

U.S. Senators Elizabeth Warren and Richard Blumenthal have asked the SEC to investigate the token, citing reports of significant investor losses. Consumer group Public Citizen estimates total losses across Trump‑linked crypto ventures at $4.7 billion.
