A former Google software program engineer, Linwei (Leon) Ding, has been charged with financial espionage after allegedly stealing important AI-related information, based on the U.S. Division of Justice.
The indictment claims Ding accessed over 1,000 confidential information between Might 2022 and Might 2023, importing them to his private Google Cloud account.
