Connect an empty MariaDB database, create an administrator, and import the starter news feeds and channel list. You can add provider keys now or later.

The installer creates the tables, verifies the administrator login and imports the starter feeds and channels. It attempts an initial market refresh. AI and YouTube keys are encrypted in the database. Setup locks after completion; scheduled work begins when you add the cron line shown next.
