Scammers posing as Wells Fargo’s fraud representatives reportedly stole hundreds of {dollars} from a Texas couple’s checking account.
Joan Leon, of Kingwood, Texas, says she acquired a name that appeared prefer it was coming from her native Wells Fargo department, making her belief the caller, experiences Fox26 Houston.
Leon says she was instructed to chop her financial institution card in half, and that somebody with the Wells Fargo fraud division would come by and choose it up.
