In accordance to Tether, the contribution is meant to assist OpenSats’ grant-making applications and operations, which offer funding to builders, researchers, and educators engaged on instruments and infrastructure inside the Bitcoin and broader open-source ecosystem.
OpenSats, a 501(c)(3) public charity, allocates all donated funds on to grantees whereas masking operational bills by way of separate contributions.
