Bitwise stated it has donated a complete of $383,000 to help open-source builders who preserve and safe the Bitcoin community since 2024.
The asset supervisor introduced a brand new $233,000 contribution on Wednesday, including to the $150,000 it donated in February 2025 after BITB’s first full 12 months.
How the donation is funded
Bitwise stated the payout is funded by 10% of gross earnings from its Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB), a dedication it made across the fund’s launch in January 2024.

The place the cash goes
Bitwise stated three Bitcoin-focused non-profits will allocate the funds: Bitcoin Brink, OpenSats, and the Human Rights Basis by means of its Bitcoin Growth Fund.
