A US financial institution worker has admitted to falsifying a mortgage software and handing $50,000 to himself.
The DOJ says 38 year-old Jordan Andrew Hennessy was chargeable for negotiating the counteroffer to his personal mortgage request at First Interstate Financial institution in Montana.
“His place allowed him to be on each side of the transaction, negotiating with himself. As soon as the $50,000 line of credit score was funded, Hennessy transferred the Stillwater Group funds from the joint account he created together with his father’s title into his private checking account.
Hennessy then used the funds to finance a number of transactions with an internet-based funding firm and finally defaulted on the $50,000 line of credit score.”
The incident occurred on March 11, 2022, when Hennessy was working because the business relationship supervisor.
