Nasdaq, Cboe and the London Inventory Trade are amongst main exchanges shifting towards longer buying and selling hours.
The US Securities and Trade Fee is about to host a public roundtable in September to debate shifting towards 24-hour buying and selling in US fairness markets.
“We’re shifting in direction of a brand new day – and evening – within the US fairness markets,” SEC Chair Paul Atkins stated on Thursday.
“With the enlargement to in a single day buying and selling, I’m excited on the prospect of US fairness markets aligning with these markets that already commerce constantly.”
