Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich has shut down hypothesis that the Japanese Bitcoin treasury firm was promoting its holdings.
“This was a routine custody operation. No bitcoin was offered, and our holdings stay 43,000 BTC,” Gerovich stated Thursday.
The corporate transferred 5,014 BTC ($322 million) over a 24-hour span beginning Wednesday. Gerovich stated the community charges to maneuver the trove price Metaplanet about $8.
