Galaxy cited unresolved ethics, stablecoin yield and developer safety points, together with a slim Senate window when lawmakers return in September.
Galaxy Digital has lowered its estimate of the Digital Asset Market Readability (CLARITY) Act’s possibilities of passing in 2026 to 10%.
It warned that a number of political points stay unresolved and the Senate may have solely about two to 3 weeks to move it when it reconvenes on Sept. 14.
Until an preliminary movement to proceed vote happens instantly upon lawmakers’ return to Washington, there can be sufficient time for the CLARITY Act to move the Senate provided that it “dominates mainly the whole working session,” wrote Galaxy’s head of firmwide analysis, Alex Thorn, in a Friday X submit.
