Anchorage Digital adds institutional access to Frgmnt’s fUSD stablecoin
The US federally chartered crypto bank will allow institutional clients to hold, mint, redeem and stake Frgmnt’s fUSD stablecoin through its custody platform.

Anchorage Digital announced a partnership with stablecoin protocol Frgmnt that enables its institutional clients to interact with the fUSD and sfUSD tokens directly from Anchorage’s custody platform.
Integration details
Through the new integration, institutions can hold, mint, redeem, stake and unstake fUSD without needing a separate custody solution. The service is offered by Anchorage Digital Bank, a U.S. federally chartered crypto bank regulated by the OCC.
About Frgmnt and its tokens
Frgmnt operates on the Base network and issues fUSD against USDC, with collateral deployed across on‑chain lending markets. Users may stake fUSD to receive sfUSD, which accrues rewards from the protocol’s underlying strategies. As of early September, the protocol reported approximately $100,000 in total value locked and an APR of 13.32% for sfUSD, though yields fluctuate with market conditions.
Broader context for Anchorage
Anchorage’s custody platform has been expanding its on‑chain product suite. Recent initiatives include staking services for Solana (via Marinade Finance) and native staking for TRX, as well as facilitating Tether’s USAt stablecoin issuance under the GENIUS Act. The firm also partnered with Mexico’s Grupo Salinas to support blockchain‑based dollar transfers and treasury operations.
Future outlook
Frgmnt plans to open public access and raise its deposit cap on September 15, moving beyond its current invite‑only beta. The partnership further positions Anchorage as a regulated gateway for institutions seeking stablecoin, staking, and other on‑chain financial services.
