US Bitcoin ETFs Pull in $731 M, Biggest Daily Inflow Since January as BTC Reclaims $80K
Spot Bitcoin ETFs in the United States recorded $730.9 million in net inflows on Thursday, the largest daily total since mid‑January, while Bitcoin price rose back above $80,000.

US‑listed spot Bitcoin exchange‑traded funds (ETFs) attracted $730.9 million in net inflows on Thursday, marking the strongest daily flow since Jan. 14, when $843.6 million entered the market.
ETF inflows surge amid price recovery
Bitcoin reclaimed the $80,000 level after trading in a $76,000‑$81,000 range earlier in the week. The inflow surge followed $101.2 million recorded on Wednesday.
Top‑performing funds
- BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led the day with $454 million, about 62 % of total inflows.
- ARK Invest and 21Shares’ ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) added $137.7 million.
- Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) contributed $74.4 million.
- VanEck’s Bitcoin ETF (HODL) and WisdomTree’s Bitcoin Fund (BTCW) posted outflows of $19.6 million and $5.2 million respectively.
Market dynamics and demand outlook
CryptoQuant noted that the recent price rally was driven largely by short‑covering rather than fresh buying, indicating limited new demand. The firm highlighted that Bitcoin holders realized net profits on 23,000 BTC on Aug. 21, the highest daily amount this year, and about 110,000 BTC since Aug. 19.
CryptoQuant identified the 365‑day moving average, around $82,300, as a key technical level. A decisive close above $83,000 would signal a new bull market, while a rejection could pull price toward the 200‑day moving average near $69,000.
