Bitget Expands Open API to Global CFD Markets

Bitget, one of the world’s largest Universal Exchanges (UEX), has expanded its Open API infrastructure to support Contracts for Difference (CFDs), giving quantitative, algorithmic, and API traders programmatic access to global markets including gold, forex, stock indices, and crude oil alongside crypto.

Bitget, a major Universal Exchange, has added Contracts for Difference (CFDs) to its Open API, allowing traders to programmatically access traditional assets such as gold, forex, stock indices and crude oil together with cryptocurrency markets.

Unified API for Multi‑Asset Strategies

The new CFD Open API lets existing Bitget API users extend their quantitative and algorithmic strategies to CFD markets without building separate connections. Users can automate order execution, retrieve real‑time market data, transfer funds and set trading parameters like take‑profit and stop‑loss within a single API environment.

Features and Account Modes

CFD Open API supports multiple CFD account modes. When placing orders, traders must use the instrument code that matches their current CFD account configuration.

Strategic Focus

Bitget says the expansion is part of its broader push to serve professional and institutional traders and to build a more integrated multi‑asset trading ecosystem.
