BlackRock Ether Staking ETF Gains $308 M in 20 Days, Assets Top $1 B

BlackRock’s ether staking ETF (ETHB) recorded $307.72 million of inflows over 20 consecutive days since late July, with no net redemption days, pushing total assets above $1 billion.

BlackRock’s ether staking exchange‑traded fund (ETF), ticker ETHB, has attracted $307.72 million in net inflows over a 20‑day period that began on July 28. During that stretch the fund recorded no day with net redemptions, highlighting strong investor interest.

Inflow dynamics

Key inflow days included $42.64 million on August 28 and $52.91 million on September 2. Since its Nasdaq launch on March 12, ETHB has accumulated $830.67 million in net inflows, according to SosoValue, and BlackRock reports total net assets of roughly $1.05 billion after six months.

Staking composition

ETHB differs from a traditional spot ether ETF by staking between 70 % and 95 % of its holdings. As of September 11, the fund held about 313,789 staked ETH (valued at $802.9 million, 74.55 % of assets) and 107,128 unstaked ETH (valued at $274.1 million). The 30‑day staking rewards rate was 1.52 % and average daily trading volume was around 566,753 shares.

Comparison with BlackRock’s spot ether ETF

BlackRock’s flagship spot ether ETF, ETHA, remains far larger, with roughly $13 billion in net inflows and $9.11 billion in net assets. ETHB’s growth appears to complement rather than replace demand for the spot product.

Potential market impact

Staking ETFs create an additional source of structural demand for ETH because inflows require underlying ether exposure, and a portion of that ether is locked in staking, reducing liquid supply. While ETHB is still much smaller than ETHA, continued inflows across both products could exert upward pressure on ether’s price over the longer term.
