Crypto casino Duelbits shuts down after $7 million hot‑wallet breach
Attackers drained Duelbits’ hot wallets on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Tron and Bitcoin, moving roughly $6 million worth of ether to a single address.

Duelbits, a crypto‑gaming platform, confirmed that attackers compromised its hot‑wallet private keys and siphoned approximately $7 million across four blockchains. The site has been taken offline while the investigation continues.
Scope of the breach
Security firm Scam Sniffer flagged outflows from Duelbits’ hot wallets on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Tron and Bitcoin. The Bitcoin wallet lost 8.1 BTC, while the Ethereum wallet transferred 836 ETH, about 593,000 USDT, 97,000 USDC, 31,500 DAI and 12.4 billion SHIB to newly created attacker addresses.
Consolidation of stolen funds
Most of the stolen assets were swapped into ether and consolidated into a single address now holding roughly 2,234 ETH, valued at around $6 million. As of the latest data, the address has not moved the funds further.
Platform response
Duelbits co‑founder Joe announced on X that user funds remain safe, the platform will stay offline until hot wallets are replenished, and a full investigation is underway.
Context
The incident mirrors a 2023 private‑key compromise that hit Stake, another crypto casino, resulting in a $40 million loss.
