Privy expands support for TRON with enhanced wallet and payment infrastructure

Privy is adding new wallet, transaction and monitoring tools for developers building financial applications on the TRON blockchain.

Privy, now part of Stripe, announced an expanded integration with the TRON blockchain, giving developers and businesses more robust tools to create and manage on‑chain financial products.

New developer capabilities

The integration adds programmatic construction, signing and broadcasting of TRON transactions, as well as balance and transaction webhooks for real‑time monitoring. Policy controls let developers set spending limits, recipient allow‑lists, and approval or restriction rules. Transfer APIs enable supported assets on TRON to be moved automatically.

Use cases and early adopters

Businesses can use the infrastructure to build stablecoin payment solutions, treasury workflows, wallets and other on‑chain financial products. Companies such as Onafriq and Paystack are already developing wallet and treasury use cases with Privy on TRON.

TRON’s stablecoin ecosystem

TRON hosts the largest circulating supply of USD Tether (USDT), exceeding $94 billion, and handles close to $30 trillion in stablecoin transfer volume. The network records over 405 million user accounts, more than 15 billion transactions and over $29 billion in total value locked.

Quotes from leadership

Justin Sun, founder of TRON, highlighted the importance of making stablecoin development easier on the network. Henri Stern, CEO of Privy, noted the growing demand for stablecoin infrastructure to support real‑world financial operations.
