NEAR adds 20 tokenized US stocks and ETFs via Ondo

NEAR Protocol has teamed up with Ondo Finance to launch tokenized versions of 20 U.S. equities, ETFs and commodity‑linked products. The offering is available to eligible users on near.com and through the NEAR Intents routing system.

Initial token lineup

The first batch includes major technology stocks and popular funds:

• Tesla (TSLA)
• Nvidia (NVDA)
• Apple (AAPL)
• Microsoft (MSFT)
• Amazon (AMZN)
• Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ)
• iShares Silver Trust (SLV)
• iShares Gold Trust (IAU)

Cross‑chain access via NEAR Intents

NEAR Intents connects more than 30 blockchains—including Bitcoin, Ethereum, NEAR, Tron and BNB Chain—allowing users to fund purchases with assets already held in their near.com wallets, such as Bitcoin and USDC. The system routes the transaction through a network of independent solvers, eliminating the need for manual bridging.

Eligibility and regulatory limits

Access is restricted by location and compliance rules. U.S. persons cannot use the service under current securities restrictions, and other jurisdictions may require users to qualify as professional investors. Purchases are settled on‑chain, and tokens can be held or exchanged back into supported crypto assets.

Ondo Finance’s broader platform

Ondo’s tokenized securities platform holds over $1 billion in total value locked and has processed more than $26 billion in cumulative trading volume. The NEAR integration adds a new distribution channel alongside existing deployments on Ethereum, Solana and BNB Chain.

Privacy features

NEAR has introduced a private routing option called Confidential Intents, which processes transactions in a private shard to reduce front‑running and other on‑chain risks. The current Ondo Stocks integration does not specify use of this privacy layer.
