Ondo Launches Three BlackRock‑Designed Tokenized Portfolio Tokens

Ondo Global Markets introduced three tokenized portfolio products that embed investment strategies designed by BlackRock. Each token aggregates a basket of tokenized assets, allowing investors to hold a single on‑chain instrument instead of managing multiple tokens.

Portfolio Types and Risk Profiles

The three offerings target distinct risk‑return objectives:

• High Income – focuses on yield‑generating assets.
• Diversified Growth – balances growth potential with broader diversification.
• High Growth – aims for maximum capital appreciation.

How the Tokens Are Structured

BlackRock provided the allocation models, but it does not issue or manage the tokens. Ondo Global Markets handles issuance, custody and ongoing operation of the products. The “powered by BlackRock” label reflects the underlying strategy design rather than direct fund management.

Underlying Tokenized Assets

Ondo’s earlier work tokenized individual securities such as Treasury bills, money‑market fund shares and equities. The new portfolio tokens extend this approach by tokenizing the investment strategy itself, moving beyond single‑asset tokenization.

Regulatory Scope

Access to the tokens is limited to eligible investors outside the United States in jurisdictions where such offerings are permitted. They are not intended as unrestricted retail crypto tokens.
