Remixpoint sells all altcoins, retains only Bitcoin
Remixpoint disposed of its Ethereum, Solana, XRP and Dogecoin holdings for ¥878.8 million, realizing a ¥117.8 million profit and leaving the company with about 1,506 BTC as its sole cryptocurrency asset.

Japanese listed company Remixpoint has liquidated its entire altcoin portfolio, keeping only Bitcoin in its treasury. The move follows a review of market conditions and the firm’s financial strategy.
Altcoin sales and realized gains
On September 1, Remixpoint sold:
- 901.45 ETH for ¥353.43 million (book value ¥293.22 million) – profit ¥60.2 million
- 13,920.07 SOL for ¥227.89 million (book value ¥178.58 million) – profit ¥49.3 million
- 1.191 million XRP for ¥260.43 million (book value ¥248.91 million) – profit ¥11.52 million
- 2.802 million DOGE for ¥37.08 million (book value ¥40.34 million) – loss ¥3.26 million
The combined sale price was ¥878.81 million against a book value of ¥761.04 million, generating a total realized profit of ¥117.77 million, which will be recorded as business‑segment revenue in the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027.
Resulting Bitcoin‑only position
After the disposals, Remixpoint’s crypto holdings consist solely of approximately 1,506 BTC. The company plans to consider the ¥878.8 million proceeds for future investments, including grid‑scale battery assets, and to strengthen its financial base.
Background and broader context
Remixpoint has been increasing its Bitcoin exposure since 2024, approving a ¥1 billion Bitcoin purchase in May 2025 and raising a financing round of about $215 million to boost its BTC holdings. In July 2025, the CEO began receiving his salary in Bitcoin, making the firm the first publicly listed Japanese company to do so. Lending operations on the Bitcoin balance have generated additional revenue, producing 14.92 BTC (¥164.22 million) between February 24 and August 31, with August alone yielding 2.48 BTC (¥31.15 million).
Industry trend
Remixpoint’s shift mirrors a broader trend among Japanese listed firms to concentrate treasury assets in Bitcoin. For example, Metaplanet reported holding 43,000 BTC and is developing Bitcoin‑backed financial products.
