Japanese firm Remixpoint sells altcoins, keeps $121 million Bitcoin treasury
Remixpoint liquidated its Ethereum, Solana, XRP and Dogecoin positions for ¥878.8 million, leaving a Bitcoin‑only treasury valued at about $121 million.

Remixpoint, a Japanese publicly listed company, sold its entire holdings of Ethereum, Solana, XRP and Dogecoin on September 1, generating ¥878.8 million (≈$5.5 million) in proceeds.
Altcoin disposals and realized gains
The company sold 901.45 ETH, 13,920 SOL, 1.19 million XRP and 2.8 million DOGE. Realized gains were recorded on three assets: ¥60.2 million (≈$377 k) on Ethereum, ¥49.3 million (≈$300 k) on Solana and ¥11.5 million (≈$72 k) on XRP. The Dogecoin sale resulted in a ¥3.3 million (≈$21 k) loss.
Resulting Bitcoin‑only treasury
After the sales, Remixpoint’s digital‑asset treasury consists solely of Bitcoin, with about 1,506.23 BTC reported on September 3, valued at roughly $121 million at current market prices. The company has added about 90 BTC to its holdings this year.
Use of proceeds
Remixpoint did not commit the ¥878.8 million to further Bitcoin purchases. Instead, the cash is earmarked for corporate initiatives such as grid‑scale battery storage expansion, balance‑sheet strengthening and other shareholder‑value measures.
Underlying financial activity
From July 2025 to August 31 2026, the firm earned ¥29.9 million in staking rewards from its Ethereum and Solana positions. Its Bitcoin holdings also generated 14.92 BTC in lending fees between February 24 and August 31, valued at about ¥164.2 million using month‑end prices.
Strategic context
The move reflects Remixpoint’s assessment of market conditions, risk‑return profiles and a broader trend among corporate crypto treasuries to concentrate exposure in Bitcoin amid weaker markets.
