Wyoming adopts Chainlink Proof of Reserve for Frontier Stable Token
The Wyoming Stable Token Commission adopted Chainlink Proof of Reserve for the Frontier Stable Token on Sept. 2. FRNT's total supply is 967,948 tokens, about 0.2% of the 508.7 million the Commission projected to the state legislature as its base case.

The Wyoming Stable Token Commission announced on September 2 that it will use Chainlink’s Proof of Reserve as the exclusive on‑chain verification layer for the Frontier Stable Token (FRNT). The move places the state’s stablecoin reserves on a public ledger and provides transparent, verifiable data about the token’s backing.
Supply and reserve context
FRNT’s circulating supply stands at 967,948 tokens, valued at roughly $0.99884 each according to market data. This represents about 0.2% of the 508.7 million tokens the Commission projected in a December budget‑session factbook, which also estimated $19.1 million in gross reserve revenue for fiscal 2027.
Proof of Reserve implementation
Chainlink’s Proof of Reserve will feed reserve and supply balances to an on‑chain readable feed, replacing the Commission’s previous method of publishing daily attestations on its website. The “Secure Mint” component, which would automatically block minting when reserves are insufficient, is still in the adoption process.
Technical deployment
FRNT operates across multiple blockchains, including Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Hedera, Optimism, Polygon and Solana. On‑chain queries show approximately 95,052 FRNT on Ethereum and 394,401 on Solana.
Government rationale
Commission executive director Anthony Apollo said the adoption “strengthens trust in FRNT while establishing the highest standard for transparency in public‑sector digital assets.” The Commission previously migrated from LayerZero to Chainlink CCIP in August, citing security and reliability concerns with the former.
Market snapshot
Chainlink (LINK) was trading at $11.28, up 2.7% on the day, with a market cap of $8.43 billion and a rank of 16.
