Ripple Brings Permanent XRP Branding to University of Louisville Basketball Court
Ripple has secured a multi‑year partnership with the University of Louisville, placing the XRP logo permanently on the Denny Crum Court at the KFC Yum! Center and supporting finance and technology education on campus.

Ripple announced a multi‑year sponsorship with the University of Louisville athletics program that will feature the XRP logo permanently on the basketball court at the KFC Yum! Center. The branding will appear on Denny Crum Court during all men’s and women’s home games and will be complemented by additional arena, broadcast and digital placements.
Court Branding and Visibility
The XRP logo will be painted directly on the playing surface, coexisting with the existing tribute to former coach Denny Crum inside the three‑point arc. Courtside signage visible on television, other arena locations, and Louisville’s digital and social channels will also carry the XRP branding.
Education Component
Ripple will fund finance and technology education initiatives for student‑athletes and the broader university community. The program will cover traditional finance topics as well as digital assets, adding an instructional layer to the sponsorship.
Broader College Sports Strategy
This deal follows Ripple’s recent partnerships with other U.S. college programs, including a football field branding agreement with the University of Florida and a uniform sponsorship with the University of Kansas. The Louisville agreement expands Ripple’s presence in collegiate athletics by focusing on permanent basketball court exposure.
Ripple’s University Engagement
Beyond sports, Ripple’s University Blockchain Research Initiative has supported more than 60 universities worldwide, committing over $80 million to academic research since 2018. The Louisville partnership aligns with this broader educational outreach.
