Spot XRP exchange‑traded funds (ETFs) posted a net inflow of $110.49 million for the week ending August 28, the strongest weekly inflow recorded in 2026. The surge lifted cumulative net inflows to $1.66 billion and raised total net assets across all XRP ETFs to $1.44 billion.

Weekly Inflow Highlights

The $110.49 million inflow more than doubled the previous 2026 weekly high of $60.5 million recorded in mid‑May. It remains below the all‑time record of $243.95 million set in late November 2025, but it is the largest weekly addition for the current year.

Trading Activity and Comparative Flows

During the same week, trading volume in XRP ETFs reached $363.03 million, the highest weekly volume since the funds launched. By contrast, Bitcoin‑focused ETFs recorded a net outflow of $201.81 million and Ethereum‑focused ETFs saw a net outflow of $102.18 million, underscoring XRP’s relative demand stability.

Price Divergence

Despite the inflow surge, XRP’s market price slipped to around $1.38 on August 29, down 2.3 % in 24 hours and 7.8 % over the week. The token had briefly tested $1.70 resistance earlier in the period before pulling back, indicating that institutional inflows are occurring amid price weakness.

Total net assets for the XRP ETF group jumped from roughly $933 million to $1.44 billion in a single week, nearly a 55 % increase, reflecting fresh capital despite the token’s price correction.
