Kaiko Secures $110 Million Series B Led by S&P Global
S&P Global leads a strategic investment that expands Kaiko’s Series B to $110 million, bringing new financial and crypto firms into the data provider’s shareholder base and funding its on‑chain capital‑markets infrastructure.

S&P Global has led a strategic investment that expands crypto‑data provider Kaiko’s Series B funding round to $110 million. The round adds a mix of banks, venture firms and blockchain players, and will be used to grow Kaiko’s market‑data business and its infrastructure for tokenized capital markets.
New investors and strategic focus
Participants include BNP Paribas, Bpifrance, Broadridge, Canton Foundation, Coinbase Ventures, DRW Venture Capital, Nasdaq Ventures, Royal Bank of Canada, Stellar and Susquehanna Private Equity Investments. Existing shareholders Anthemis, Point Nine and Revaia also participated. The new investors have joined a Kaiko‑chaired Strategic Industry Working Group that will concentrate on data and infrastructure needed for tokenized markets.
Use of proceeds
Kaiko plans to allocate the capital to:
- Enhance its digital‑asset market‑data operation, which currently covers more than 150 exchanges and protocols.
- Expand data infrastructure for on‑chain capital markets, supporting banks and other institutions testing tokenized securities and blockchain‑based financial products.
- Further develop institutional‑grade pricing, liquidity, indices and market‑information products.
Recent developments and partnerships
Kaiko recently launched the S&P Kaiko Digital Asset Indices with S&P Dow Jones Indices and has been involved in tokenizing the iBoxx U.S. Treasuries index on the Canton Network. Institutional products such as Bitwise’s Canton Coin ETP now use Kaiko’s reference rates. The company’s acquisition history includes Vinter (index provider), Kesitys (quantitative data), Napoleon Index (CoinShares), Cometh (DeFi infrastructure) and Amberdata (U.S. digital‑asset data).
Funding history
The $110 million round builds on the $53 million Series B raised in June 2022, which was led by Eight Roads and included Revaia, Alven, Point Nine, Anthemis and Underscore.
Outlook
While Kaiko has not disclosed its valuation or the individual contribution amounts, the expanded financing positions the firm to support the growing demand for reliable crypto market data and to enable broader adoption of tokenized financial instruments.
