Anchorage Digital Bank Adds Custody for Etherlink and Tokenized Uranium
Anchorage Digital Bank now supports custody of Etherlink and seven Tezos‑layer‑2 assets, including xU3O8, a token that represents physical uranium.

Anchorage Digital Bank, the United States’ first federally chartered crypto bank, announced that it will custody assets issued on Etherlink, an EVM‑compatible layer‑2 network that settles on Tezos. The new service covers eight tokens, giving institutional clients a regulated way to hold these digital assets.
Supported Etherlink Assets
The integration adds custody for the following Etherlink‑based tokens:
- Wrapped XTZ (WXTZ)
- Liquid staking token stXTZ
- Stablecoins USDT, USDC and USDSM
- Wrapped Ether (WETH)
- xU3O8 – a tokenized representation of physical uranium
Tokenized Uranium (xU3O8)
xU3O8 provides investors exposure to physical uranium without the need for direct handling or storage. According to market data, the token’s market cap is just above $9 million.
Industry Context
Anchorage is not the first custodian to support xU3O8; Hex Trust added similar support in August 2025. Tokenization is presented as a way to shorten settlement times from weeks to minutes and to lower the investment thresholds traditionally associated with uranium exposure.
Implications for Institutional Clients
By offering segregated accounts for Etherlink assets, Anchorage expands the range of compliant, custodial solutions available to institutional investors seeking exposure to both crypto‑native and tokenized real‑world assets.
